Men’s Work
What is “Men’s Work”?
The goal of our work is simple but vast: to destroy the isolation, shame, and rage which most men in our world experience on a constant basis. This practice returns us, at least in some way, to the way humans existed before modernity. We do this sacred work together, in which we bring our unguarded heart into our salted circle, engaged and alive for a time. Members of the group are encouraged to connect each other outside of the group to foster community and comradery. This includes groups/circles, individual work, and retreats.
The circle we create is a container, a masculine healing space, which allows us to restore what we have lost. Its walls are strengthened by the souls of each man present and his growing capacity to love and be loved. Through these safe gatherings we foster personal growth, but also connection to other members of the group. Oftentimes as a result of this work there is growth that happens between members of the group and other people in our lives such as significant others and friends.
